  • Fall hazards & hierarchy of controls
  • Personal fall arrest vs. fall restraint systems
  • Anchors, connectors, lanyards, SRLs and harness components
  • Inspection, care and storage of equipment
  • Rescue planning and suspension trauma

Practical

  • Donning, fitting and inspecting a full-body harness
  • Selecting and connecting to appropriate anchor points
  • Calculating fall clearance and swing-fall hazards
  • Hands-on rescue scenario walkthrough
